Find a birthday week without inventing a chart date

Birthday Number One is a browser-local lookup of the U.S. Hot 100 number-one archive. The adapted dataset has 2,921 explicit Saturday issue rows from 1970 through 2025; it is a historical table lookup.

Read the edition convention

The lookup selects the Saturday-dated chart edition in the entered birthday's Sunday–Saturday calendar week. An issue date does not establish publication time, sales or tracking period, or the song played at the exact moment of birth.

Inspect the record before sharing it

  1. Enter a date in the declared coverage and read the printed issue date beside the song and artist.
  2. Compare neighboring editions and open the retained year source or permanent revision when a result needs checking.
  3. Save or copy the chart receipt deliberately: it contains the entered date, edition, attribution and license, even though the lookup keeps the date in the browser.

Keep the adaptation traceable

The weekly tables come from attributed Wikipedia contributor revisions. Rows were expanded and dates normalized from actual source cells; cumulative weeks were not converted into imagined consecutive runs. The adapted dataset is CC BY-SA 4.0, separately from the MIT code and design. No recording, lyrics, cover or artist photograph is supplied.

Keep the limit in view

This is the U.S. Hot 100. The final included issue is 27 December 2025. The Sunday-dated bicentennial edition of 4 July 1976 is excluded from the Saturday-only archive; a missing covered edition, later date or year outside 1970–2025 remains unknown.
